History, Vision & Mission

Kervo, a renowned supplier of high-quality fruit products, boasts a rich history that began in 1980. The Vossen family started cultivating sour cherries in their orchards in Roggel, pioneering large-scale machine harvesting in the fruit processing industry. In 1988, Kervo expanded its operations by bringing morello cherry processing in-house, leading to the production of fresh, high-quality products.

In 1996, the Vossen family, now known as Kervo, expanded their cherry cultivation to the south of France, extending the availability of fresh produce. The company’s professional growth continued in 2008 with the relocation of production facilities to Venlo. This move to a modern facility allowed Kervo to further develop while prioritizing compliance with food safety laws and regulations. Since 2008, Kervo has been BRC certified.

Responding to market demand, Kervo also expanded its product portfolio to include apples. As a customer-focused organization, Kervo embraced this opportunity by investing in state-of-the-art machinery, positioning itself to meet specific customer needs and future demands effectively.

As part of Kervo’s ongoing growth, a decision was made to build a brand-new in-house production hall. In 2023, Kervo relocated to a new 7,000m² facility in Neer, close to its original roots. This expansive new location enhances our ability to meet food safety standards more effectively. Additionally, the larger workspace improves convenience, efficiency, and safety for our employees. At Kervo, fostering a positive working atmosphere remains a top priority.
